1.3. from 18:00 – Opening of the exhibition Two in One 2. 3. – 20. 4. – Exhibition TWO IN ONE The exhibition will present the activities of two progressive studios of the Department of Applied Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava – the Glass Studio, led by Patrik Illo, and the S+M+L_XL – KOV A ŠPERK Studio, led by Karol Weisslechner. You can visit the exhibition from Monday to Thursday, 13-18h. 2.3. od 16:00 – Build it UP! –⁠ series of workshops In collaboration with the UPPER Centre for Creative Industries and Entrepreneurship, we have prepared the Build it UP! program, a series of five workshops during the summer semester, which will help you to learn how to navigate the world of entrepreneurship in a simple way. The first workshop on pricing will be led by business strategy designer Petr Pouchlý. Markéta Štěpaníková will introduce you to the legal aspects. The event is free for everyone and no advance registration is required. 13. 3. from 17:00 – Guided tour of the exhibition Two in One 18. 3. from 13:00 – Should we pay for creative production? Workshop with Ivona Petružálková Student non-profit project Fashion Event Dotek is preparing a workshop on creative production with project manager Ivona Petružálková, who currently works for leading Czech magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire and others. You must register for the workshop in advance at @fashioneventdotek and the registration fee is 80 Kč. 20. 3. from 17:00 – Theatrical performance “With Equal Rights It Will Be Better” The ŽROŇK theatre group from the Department of Media and Cultural Studies and Journalism at the Faculty of Arts in Olomouc will present its theatre performance With Equal Rights It Will Be Better, which draws attention to the problems of registered partnerships and introduces the general public to the lives of gay and lesbian couples in the Czech Republic. 27. 3. from 16:00 – Build it UP! – workshop on the legal aspects of freelancing In collaboration with the UPPER Centre for Creative Industries and Entrepreneurship, we have prepared the Build it UP! programme, a series of five workshops during the summer semester, which will help you learn how to navigate the world of entrepreneurship in a simple way. The event is free for everyone and no advance registration is required. 29. 3. from 18:00 – About the life of Trans people not only in the Czech Republic – lecture with discussion Who are trans people? Is there a guaranteed way to tell if you are trans? How are they perceived by the Czech legislation? And where do trans people actually go to the bathroom? The answers to these and other questions will be given at a lecture with representatives from the Trans*parent organization, which defends the rights and interests of trans, non-binary and intersex people.
