Community Gallery Project

At G18 Gallery we are constantly trying to create a programme and space that is for everyone. That’s why we are participating in the Up Grants 2024 call under the auspices of the European Network of Cultural Centres, specifically with the Community Gallery and its involvement. 

Thank you to everyone who voted for our project at the beginning of April. It was your votes, combined with the expert jury, that decided that our project was selected among the four winners from all over Europe, out of more than 100 other initiatives!

About the project:
Thanks to the Community Gallery project, we plan to develop a tool for creating cultural brands through a participatory design sprint methodology involving local communities in Zlín. The primary goal is to integrate the community directly into the design process through participatory sessions that incorporate human centered design principles. The results of the project will be replicable, allowing other institutions to benefit from the transformation of the G18 Gallery.
